Intern produces Youtube video clips
Our intern, Dawn Van Ness has been quite busy producing video clips to help promote local retailers and restaurateurs! The videos are free to the participating merchants and will be posted here as well as on the business directory page under the newly added"video" column. Dawn says when filming she has found two options work best. The merchant can prepare a short script to sell their image and business, in effect, do a self-crafted commercial. Option 2 would be for the camera-shy person. Dawn can come in and ask questions and take a tour of the business and get various shots selected by the owner and a few of her own choosing and then narrate it with sound bites of natural sound and interviews. Either way you do it, it is free to the merchant and as they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words" so a video must be worth at least ten times that! Count this as yet another service provided for you by the good folks at Downtown Blackstone Inc!
