The Coke Building receives its first coat of primer. Workmen prepare two sides simultaneously.
After finishing the priming, the painters painted small areas to show what the colors will look like.
The left photo is done all in primer. The right side photo has a painted sample area at the top.
The Coke building gets a red rim around the upper cornice and red accents. They stand out nicely!
This makes for a nice "after" picture. More to come! Apple Door workers arrive!
The old garage doors are discarded and replaced with identical wooden doors to keep it authentic.
At the end of the day, no one will know the difference! That's one handsome looking building!!
